★Hi Nikki,
I wanted to send you a note. We are still breastfeeding.
Thank you so much for your support last Spring, you were so great and your recommendations really resonated with me, which is why I think we've made it this long nursing. Thank you again!
All the best,
E.P

★I contacted Nikki just a few days after arriving home from the hospital, after my daughter had lost some weight and didn't gain anything back by our first pediatrician appointment. She helped me, my husband and my daughter out immensely -- she did a weighted feeding, taught me how to make sure the latch was good, showed me how to pump and use that to supplement if my daughter still seemed hungry, and had my husband take photos of me breastfeeding from different angles so we could refer to them later on in case we forgot anything. 5 days later, we had another pediatrician appointment and my daughter had gained over an ounce a day. By her first month checkup, she had gained back all of the weight she lost at birth plus an additional pound and was right on track! We didn't need to supplement with formula at any point. She also has forms that you can submit to your insurance company and you might even get reimbursed! Our family thanks Nikki very much for her breastfeeding support! Gillian
★Hi Nikki, As an update, my daughter is a perfect little girl -- happy smiling and interactive! She's eating well! I am still breastfeeding and plan to continue to pump and feed her breast milk when I return to work in a month. So all is well..and I owe a lot of my success to your guidance! Thanks so much! Kristen
★My session with Nikki was everything I could have hoped for - she was knowledgeable, kind, helpful and reassuring. Weighing my son before and after feeding him was incredibly helpful and she had excellent tips and knowledge about babies and feeding them. After our session the time I spent breast feeding was literally reduced by half and my baby was feeding much better! I also felt much more confident and had the knowledge I needed to make breastfeeding a success! Nila
★ Before giving birth, I knew I wanted to breastfeed my baby. While still in the hospital, a lactation consultant (not Nikki) told me I would never breastfeed from one side due to an inverted nipple. When I got home from the hospital I contacted Nikki and we met right away the next week. She helped me through an incredibly difficult time and eventually I was breastfeeding my son on both sides with no problem! I am so grateful she believed in me and supported me with education and encouragement. I could not have done it without her! I highly recommend Nikki to any new moms who are facing breastfeeding challenges. She can help you achieve your unique breastfeeding goals! A.M.

💌 My son was born 3.5 weeks early, right before the city shut down and I was stressing out about my late-term premie learning how to latch. I had been exclusively pumping for nearly a month and trying to get my sleepy son to nurse daunted me.
I found Nikki online after a particularly teary attempt to latch. Nikki was prompt in responding to my texts, thorough in our virtual lactation consultation sessions and extremely comforting in her knowledgeable approach to supporting me as a mother learning how to breastfeed. The challenges of being a first-time mom during COVID have been layered, and I’m so grateful to have found a personable professional to look to and learn from in these times.

💌 Nikki has been very helpful throughout my breastfeeding journey. I gave birth at the end of February and my baby was losing weight so I contacted Nikki immediately and was able to schedule a home visit 2 days after getting discharged from the hospital. She is very knowledgeable and helped me fix my baby's latch problem and showed me how to use my breast pump among many things. She even texted me instructions so that I wouldn't forget. As the covid pandemic worsened in NYC, we had to schedule a follow up virtual visit. She was able to assess baby's latch and answered all my questions using google hangout. Two months later, I suffered from clogged milk duct. Again, I reached out to her and had another virtual consultation. She demonstrated different breastfeeding positions to help alleviate the problem. She also taught me different ways to resolve the clogged duct. Nikki is very patient, informative and responsive. I highly recommend her!

Breast milk.....one of the best vital food choices for your baby
Have you ever wondered how much people spend money for formula for the baby's first year in the U.S.? It is approximately over $2,500 just on the formula, which does not count the bottles and any other supplies related to formula feeding. In addition, people don't even realize how much time they spend to prepare formula every day. The composition of formula is far from its human milk, which has full of antibodies and beneficial nutrients. On the other hand, breastfeeding is costless, no need of preparation, most natural and perfect shoku-iku for your baby, and has such a reliable long long history, which must have begun when the very first man and woman had their very first baby. Benefits of breastfeeding are almost uncountable...........
